The Whipping Post Take on Noozhawk
HANCOCK COLLEGE: CRANKING OUT MORE GOV'T WORKERS! TAXPAYERS, REJOICE!
Allan Hancock College, in its infinite wisdom and taxpayer-funded glory, has once again unleashed a fresh batch of 'cadets' (read: future bureaucrats) into our emergency services, because who needs pr

Well, bless their hearts, Allan Hancock College is at it again! They’ve just pumped out another gaggle of graduates from their EMS and Paramedicine 'academies,' as Noozhawk dutifully reported. Aren't we all just thrilled that our local community college is churning out government employees like a sausage factory? It's not enough to teach trades or useful skills that might lead to self-sufficiency; no, the real gold is in training people to work for the ever-expanding public sector, funded by the ever-shrinking pockets of the local citizenry.
One imagines the scene: rows of enthusiastic younglings, fresh from their state-subsidized instruction, ready to leap into action... on a government payroll. It’s all rather heartwarming, in a 'we’re all in this centrally-planned boat together' kind of way. Instead of fostering innovation and independent thought, Hancock seems dedicated to ensuring a steady supply of cogs for the municipal machine, all while patting themselves on the back for their 'contribution' to the community.
And let's not overlook the choice of word: 'cadets.' Not students, not graduates, but 'cadets.' It almost sounds like they’re being drafted into some sort of medical militia, rather than simply getting a certification. Perhaps it's just another way to lend an air of gravitas to something that could probably be handled more efficiently and with less fuss by the private sector, but hey, that wouldn't involve as many 'academies' or 'ceremonies,' would it?
So, as we toast these new additions to our public service infrastructure, let's also silently applaud the incredible efficiency of a system that ensures a steady demand for more government services, which in turn justifies more government funding, which in turn requires more 'cadets.' It’s a beautifully circular argument, perfectly designed for maximum bureaucratic expansion, and Hancock College is clearly doing its part.
